The CPS (Computer Programming Software) allows you to efficiently manage and customize the Scan List on your Ailunce HA1UV. This guide will walk you through the process of adding, removing, and organizing channels in your Scan List to enhance your scanning experience.


Note: Only channels added to the Scan List can be scanned. If a channel is not assigned to a Scan List, it will not be included in the scanning process.

Zone and Scan Channel List are different. Channels in the Zone will not be scanned.

Step 1: Connect to CPS

Before you start, ensure that your Ailunce HA1UV is properly connected to the CPS software.


Step 2: Select the Correct COM Port

  1. Open the CPS software.
  2. Select the correct COM port.

Step 3: Access the Scan Channel List

  1. Navigate to Scan Channel List in the CPS software.
  2. Here, you can add or remove channels from your Scan List.
  3. Edit Scan Name:
    • Double-click on the Scan Name field to rename your Scan List for better organization.


Step 4: Managing the Channel List

  1. In the Channel List section, you can add or remove channels.
  2. Important Note:
    • Only channels with the Status box checked will be written into the radio.


Step 5: Adding Channels to the Scan List

To ensure proper scanning, first, you need to add your desired channels to the Channel List, then assign them to the Scan List.

  1. First, add the channels in the Channel List.

  1. Go to Scan Channel List and click Edit.

  1. From the Scan Channel List, check the boxes for the channels you want to add to your Scan List.
    • Note: The channels you select must already exist in the Channel List.
  1. Click SAVE.


Step 6: Assigning a Channel to Multiple Scan Lists

  • The same channel can be assigned to multiple Scan Lists.
  • For example, Channel a can exist in both Scan-1 and Scan-2.
  • This allows flexibility in organizing your scanning groups for different needs.

Example:

  • Scan-1: Group of channels used for local communications.

  • Scan-2: Group of channels used for emergency or priority scanning.

  • Scan-3: Group of channels for special events or monitoring different frequencies.


Step 7: Final Step – Write to the Radio

  1. After completing the setup, click Write to save your configurations.
  2. The Scan List and assigned channels will now be updated on your radio.
