Ailunce HD1 is ham radio and supports Front Panel Programming. if we set the channel in simplex mode, the RX frequency is the same as the RX frequency. but how set the channel in repeater mode? there are two items to set, including Shift Up and Shift Freq.
Shift Up: it's the direction setting of frequency shift. there are OFF, Plus, Minus setting items to set.
Shift Freq: it's the frequency difference between tx and RX frequency.
How to set them? I'll provide two examples for your reference.
Repeater 1:
TX=439.400MHZ, RX=432.400MHZ, CTCSS/DCS=118.8
Then we can know the RX of our Ailunce HD1 is the same as the TX of the repeater, and it's 439.400MHZ. we can know the TX of Ailunce HD1 is 432.400 in the same way.
So we can know the difference between TX and RX: TX-RX= -7MHZ. then we just need to set the Shift Up to Minus, and the Shift Freq to 07.00000.
Repeater 2:
Downlink: 146.88000 Uplink: 146.28000 Offset: -0.6 MHz Uplink Tone: 103.5 Downlink Tone: 103.5
We know the downlink is the TX frequency of the repeater, and the Uplink is the RX frequency of the repeater. So the RX of our Ailunce HD1 is 146.8800MHZ, and the TX of Ailunce HD1 is 146.2800MHZ.
So we can know the difference between TX and RX: TX-RX= -00.60000MHZ. then we just need to set the Shift Up to Minus, and the Shift Freq to 00.60000.
