How to make your Ailunce HD1 works on Windows 11 System

Above message are all from our customer which have Ailunce HD1 DMR radios. but they meet the problem when programming on Windows 11 system.

Today, we will share our friend Jim's experience who does not have a programming cable that does not work with Windows 11.

Sometimes Windows incorrectly installs the Prolific driver for the WCH CH340 chip (and that obviously won't work) so now I don't let Windows choose the driver to install. I now download and install the latest driver from the WCH website. http://www.wch-ic.com/search?q=CH340&t=downloads

With the Prolific chip, no matter if it is a PL2303TA or PL2303HXA, the driver that is automatically installed by Windows is incompatible. All you have to do is download, manually install and select the Prolific v3.3.2.105 or older driver (v3.2.0.0 recommended).

Not supported PL2303XHA chip. Driver refuses to work.

Not supported PL2303TA chip. Driver refuses to work.

Same as with Windows Vista, 7, 8.x and 10, install and select the older Prolific v3.2.0.0 driver.

The v3.2.0.0 driver assigns COM port and works 100% with Windows 11.  For Windows XP, you have to install and select the older Prolific v2.0.2.1 driver. So for me, all programming cables work with Windows 11.

Tested Okay with HD1 customer.
