How to Manually Save a Channel via RT23 Radio Keypad?

RT23 is a dual band amateur radio. Cross-band repeater function and dual receive simultaneously make it is popular in hams zone. This article will show how to manually save a new channel without computer.

Turn on the radio, we can press the [VFO] key to switch frequency mode and channel mode. Make sure your RT23 in frequency mode, then you can write the receiving frequency via the radio number keypad directly. Press [Menu] to set other parameters of the current frequency, like CTCSS/DCS and offset.

After all setting is ok, how to save it as a new channel?

In frequency mode,

  1. Short press [Menu],
  2. Long press [VFO],
  3. rotating the channel knob to select the channel number you want to save.
  4. Long press the [VFO] to save the current frequency to the channel.
