How to set analog channel for Retevis RT3S?

RT3S is a very popular dual-band DMR amateur radio. The reason why it is so popular is not only that it uses superheterodyne for receiving, and the receiving effect is very good. but also it's easy to program. Today we will introduce three ways to program an analog channel for RT3S.

Program in software

The key to set an analog channel is working mode, TX/RX frequency, TX/RX CTCSS/DCS. As long as these settings are OK, the channel can work normally. But for RT3S, after setting the channel, you must put the channel in the zone. The specific setting steps are as follows.

1. channel setting 

Channel information=》channel1, then setting working mode, TX/RX frequency, TX/RX CTCSS/DCS as below.

2. Put channel into the zone

Zone information=》Zone 1=》select channel in Available Channel，click Add

FPP Programming

Open the software of RT3S, Menu Item=> check Program Radio item and write into radio

1. program new analog channel in channel mode

There is a saved analog channel on your radio. then press Menu=>Utilities=>Program Radio, then edit the information of analog channel.

2. program new analog channel in VFO mode

There is an analog VFO channel on your radio. please press Menu=》Utilities=》Radio Setting=》set Mode to MR Mode and return to the main display, and long-press RETURN key to switch to VFO mode. then press Menu=>Utilities=>Program Radio, then edit the information of the analog channel.
