1, How to apply?

Write a test plan for either RT54 or RT8 and leave it in the comments for a chance to be selected. Winners will be selected based on the quality of their testing plan.

3, Review requirements

Once you have received your radio, you need to send us a link to your review within two weeks. If you haven’t provided a link after two weeks you will be unable to take part in further Retevis Giveaway or other Retevis Free test program.

4, Where to share your review?

There is no require to share your post to a specific website. But you can share your review on social media(Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and etc), blog website, deal website or others.

If you really have no place to share, you can send your reivew to us, we will share it on our website.

5, Winners

We will select 10 winners (5 winners for RT8 and 5 winners for RT54)

6, Retevis reserves the right of final explanation.

I am a well experienced user of DMR radios, having evaluated/tested many brands and models of amateur equipment (both that I have purchased as well as those provided at no charge to me for evaluation). I would be more than happy to test either radio and provide an objective review (either written or video as appropriate) within the required time frame. My review style is more that of real-world 'friend talking to a friend' highlighting radio features & comparison with competing products than trying to dissect the technical particulars of a given radio. I do not have extensive DMR testing equipment, but am able to provide reasonable performance comparisons on both repeaters and hotspots from my QTH. I do not have a multitude of followers on any social platform and as such, would prefer to submit my review directly to Ailunce/Retevis for use where needed. Please let me know if I can be of help.

I would like to review the RT8. I would do a video and written review on my blog, YouTube, and Twitter. I would like to focus on testing audio quality, receiver on analog and digital, programming, features, interfacing with a hotspot, GPS to APRS on Brandmeister, and battery life. I would also would like to do range testing on analog vs digital on the fringe to show the benefits of digital voice technology. Thanks :)

I would review the retevis rt 54 or rt 8. I would first go over the programming software. Then for the rt 8 I would go over the menu items. For both radios I would then field test them, testing the recieve and transmitt range. I will put it to use at a ham radio public service event, and use it for my business activities. I will also use it with my DMR hotspot and a repeater. This review will be posted on my YouTube channel, Facebook page, and anywhere else you want to post it. Russell KD9FAL

I am an experienced tester of DMR radio equipment and have written a number of DMR radio reviews already and would love to test your Retevis RT8. I have a variety of venues that I can post the review to on social media, including Facebook. Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. My accounts have thousands of followers. I will post the review to maximize exposure. I will review the radio using through more than one hotspot; testing in a public safety environment for search and rescue, including the use of encrypted communications; and for amateur repeater use. Additionally, I use DCDM and can test how it works in that mode. Not too many people use that mode and I can help explain it better. I will also share the review with you for use on your own web sites. I am an experienced writer and will test your product in various environments to show its versatility. I look forward to reviewing the Retevis RT8 handheld radio for you!

If a have the chance to test RT8 UHF i will make a video review in field test near Iasi,Romania.The review will be in romanian language because Romania is good market for this TRX.We have allmost 4000 hamradio operator in Romania and DMR and DMR+ is the future for emergency communication and i involved in this.Is a big alternative to Tetra and Retevis make good TRX in DMR i think.The review will be posted on my facebook account.
